2 HR ENDURO RACE:

- 488 Challenge EVO & Non-EVO only

- Each team must be comprised of at least two and no more than three individual car/driver combinations. Team rosters will be determined by the competitors and/or teams. Team rosters (Car numbers and driver combinations on each team) are due to timing and scoring no later than 10:00a on Jan 7th.

- 1 coach / pro driver allowed on 3 car teams only / limited to 1 stint

- Drivers have the option to share a single car with their teammate (s) and perform driver change, or be in separate cars awaiting release from pit box after mandatory pit time is served.

- Teams with drivers sharing a single car are limited to 2 consecutive stints with that car. No “hot” fueling or tire changes allowed

- Mandatory pit stop time for all cars is 2 minutes

- Starting Grid will be determined by a random drawing of team numbers at the Driver’s Briefing.

- Each driver on the team must drive at least one 12 lap stint in the teams registered car(s). The Team may deploy their driver/car members in any sequence they wish.

- Each driver nominated as part of a team may drive no more than 12 laps consecutively (green and yellow laps count). That is 11 laps and then in, not 12 laps on track before returning to pit lane and handing over to the next member of their team. If a driver pits for a mechanical reason and then returns on course with no driver change, the combination of laps before and after the pit stop will be used to determine the total consecutive lap count for that stint.

-Laps completed over the 12 maximum will not be scored.

-Should a team be reduced to a one-car effort due to mechanical issues (or Crash) the remaining car(s) can continue to do a maximum of 12 laps.

- If a team car is down on course causing a FCY the next team car will be allowed to enter the race from pit lane after the green flag and the field goes by.

PIT STOPS / DRIVER CHANGE– At the conclusion of their 12th lap (or fewer) each driver must pit. He must cross the pit-in loop with the pit limiter engaged and continue at pit speed to his pit box.

-The car prepared to go must hold for 120 seconds after the first car has stopped behind him, before proceeding onto the track. All cars leaving the pits must do so with the pit speed limiter engaged. Failure to engage the pit speed limiter either entering or leaving the pits will result in an automatic time penalty added to the overall elapsed time of the team’s total race time.

WINNING – The team that completes the furthest distance in two hours is the winner. The leading car after the conclusion of two hours will be shown the checkered flag and all others following him.
